CAESARS POCONO RESORTS RECEIVES $10 MILLION FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS
— Money Designated to Further Enhance Properties and Guest Experience —
LAKEVILLE, PA - Caesars Pocono Resorts today announced that it has received a $10 million investment from its parent company Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Inc. to continue improvements on its four Pocono Mountain-area properties. This marks the fourth straight year of major capital improvements at Caesars Pocono Resorts; the year-round romantic vacation resorts spent $15 million on remodeling its Paradise Stream Resort property in 2005.
"This capital investment is an example of our commitment to continually improve our facilities and enhance our guest's experiences", said Douglas Wilkins, Pennsylvania Area Managing Director for Starwood. Wilkins expects a variety of infrastructure projects to commence immediately.
Caesars Pocono Resorts, which employs 825 team members, is comprised of four resort properties located in the Pocono Mountains of Northeast Pennsylvania. The three couples-only properties-Cove Haven Resort in Lakeville, Paradise Stream Resort in Mount Pocono and Pocono Palace Resort in Marshalls Creek-hosts more than 150,000 guests each year.
