MOUNT POCONO, PA - Today marks the one-year anniversary of the re-opening of Paradise Stream Resort. More than 13,000 couples have visited the romantic vacation destination since it unveiled over $15 million in renovations on October 26, 2005.

Damaged by floods in the spring of 2005, Paradise Stream Resort underwent an aggressive 7-month renovation, culminating in a grand re-opening one year ago today. Among the highlights of the resort's first full year of operation since re-opening is the increased popularity of its Lakeside Villa Suites, the individual Roman-style bungalows located on Lake Eden. The waterfront Villas, which were extensively remodeled during the renovation project, are currently running at sold-out levels and year-to-year numbers are up nearly 20%, according to Rich Fuqua, Director of Marketing for Caesars Pocono Resorts.

Additional Paradise Stream Resort amenities to receive specific focus during the renovation were the upgraded restaurant and hospitality areas and a new, state-of-the-art nightclub, which seats more than 600 people. Since re-opening, the nightclub has hosted a number of high-profile entertainers, including sold-out performances by The Manhattans and The Stylistics. In November 2006, it will host the Comedy Idols, stars of the hit NBC show “Last Comic Standing”.

“While unfortunate, the flood renovations gave us an opportunity to step back and look at ways to further enhance our guest experience. Many of the improvements, such as those we made at the Lakeside Villa Suites, were a direct response to customer feedback.
