Rising To Fame
Caesars Pocono Resorts and Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains were catapulted into the national spotlight when Life Magazine visited the flagship resort, Cove Haven, and published the photo of the world's first, heart-shaped tub, which was created by the resorts' founder and president/CEO Morris B. Wilkins (retired). From the date of publication in 1971, Cove Haven, and subsequently Paradise Stream and Pocono Palace, became the world's most famous destinations for honeymooners and was deemed the "The Honeymoon Capital of the World."
While the heart-shaped tub endures as a signature amenity in many of the suites at Caesars Pocono Resorts nearly 40 years later, the most unique and popular attraction is the 7-foot-tall Champagne Glass Whirlpool Bath for Two. Also created by Wilkins, the patented, world-exclusive whirlpool bath is featured in The Roman Towers Suites at Pocono Palace and The Champagne Towers by Cleopatra Suites at Cove Haven, Paradise Stream and Pocono Palace.
