Need something to do during your down times? You could always plug in to the office and give your partner a rest. Guests can now enjoy free wireless high-speed internet access in each resort's café.

Is There a Fee?
No. Caesars Pocono Resorts is providing this service at no cost to our guests. Guests must supply their own equipment.

What Do I need to use the free High-Speed Internet?
You need a laptop or notebook computer equipped with a wireless Ethernet card (802.11b or 802.11g). The card may be an add-on card installed in your computers PCMCIA slot or may be built into your laptop. The software drivers to operate the wireless cards must also be installed and configured properly. You must also have a standard internet browser application such as Internet Explorer or Netscape to browse the internet or a mail application to retrieve email.

Is the Network Secure?
Caesars Pocono Resorts Free High-Speed internet is as secure as any open public access network. It is recommended that all antivirus software as well as any other security applications that arebeing used such as firewalls and anti-spyware are up to date before connecting to the network. It is always a good idea to make sure that you are on a SSL encrypted web page before transmitting or receiving confidential data. The guest is responsible for ensuring their computer is secure and that they access safe content through the free internet service being provided.

How Do I connect?
If your computer is configured for wireless networking then it should automatically connect to our free High-Speed Internet service. The network is entitled GuestNet. If configured properly, you should be able to open up your internet browser and start accessing the internet. There are no passwords, no fees and no limits.

I cannot connect. What should I do?
If you cannot connect please check the following troubleshooting tips below. The resort is not responsible for any configuration changes made to your computer.

1. Make sure your laptop is wireless network capable.
2. Make sure the service is offered in your location. Currently free High-Speed Wireless Internet service is only offered in the resort cafés.
3. 1. Make sure your browser is configured properly.
   2. For Internet Explorer click on ‘Tools’
   3. Click ‘Internet Options’
   4. Click ‘Connections’
   5. Make sure ‘Never Dial a Connection’ is selected
   6. Click ‘Lan Settings’
   7. Make sure to check ‘Automatically Detect Settings’
   8. lick ‘OK’ to exit screens
4. Make sure your wireless connection is configured to obtain an IP address automatically. Depending on your operating system, these settings can be found in the Control Panel under Network.
5. Make sure you are connected to the wireless network with the name of GuestNet. Depending on your software, name can also be referred by other names such as SSID, ESSID, Network Name, Wireless Network Name, and Network Identifier.
6. If you are not connected to GuestNet, make sure that your laptop can see the network. You will need to refer to your wireless network card or operating system manual for instructions.
7. If the network is visible to your computer but you cannot connect you may need to adjust your wireless network settings for the GuestNet connection.
   1. Check that the connection is configured for INFRASTRUCTURE mode. Ad-Hoc will not work.
   2. Make sure data encryption is DISABLE (OFF)
